Halogen backs adekuoroye to shine in Tokyo


NIGERIA’S leading security risk company, halogen Group, has sent a goodwill message to its adopted athlete and wrestler, Odunayo Adekuoroye, ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, The PUNCH reports.

Adekuoroye, Nigeria’s flagbearer at the Tokyo Olympics, was adopted by Halogen Group under the “Adopt-an-athlete” initiative by the sports ministry to produce potential medallists for Nigeria at the Games.

The 27-year-old female wrestling sensation, currently ranked No.1 in the 57kg women’s category, is also a two-time Commonweal­th champion.
