Tinubu, who made the allegations during the Presidential campaign rally at Aper Aku township stadium, Makurdi on Thursday, noted that the PDP regime also issued the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) licences to their supporters and started creating queues and blackmailing the government.

The leader of APC in Benue state and Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, George Akume, described the Tinubu/Shettima team as a perfect combination that will bring Nigeria out of its current woes.

According to him, Tinubu, who is a Muslim supported Dr. Iyorchia Ayu to become president of the Senate while he (Akume) also benefited from his benevolence as Senate minority leader under APC.

Governorship candidate of APC in Benue state, Revd Fr. Hyacinth Alia, said Benue is, at the moment, in a deplorable condition and only the Tinubu presidency can salvage the situation.

In his remarks, the Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council, and governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, stated that Tinubu in 2015 influenced the voting of Governor Samuel Ortom under APC but he eloped with the mandate to the PDP.
