Can Women EVER stop RipPING each other Apart at Work?

- BY

Female colleagues do not need to go out of their way to “be best friends for life,” but when they go out of their way to sabotage a fellow woman at work, it is bewildering! Even those respected as ‘mentors’ sometimes fall into this category for one reason or the other. And God forbid, they have a mutual attraction to a male colleague, all fangs are out. The essence of sisterhood plays a far second. And in other cases, it might just be a case of simple jealouy rearing its ugly head. There is a saying that women are their own worst enemies and the workplace is sometimes a war torn zone. Personality differences and approaches to communication and work ethics are bound to occasionally create friction. Therefore, with all points mentioned above, such situations can obstruct the official etiquettes thereby paving way for grudges. And lastly, sadly, instead of being given credit for their hard work, some women go not give their peers credit for success, instead they take the chauvanistic attitude of men who believe such women ‘slept’ their way to the top!
