WINSTON BLUE DIAMOND $23.8 million

This extremely valuable ring features the largest flawless vivid blue diamond in the world. When this stunningly beautiful 13.22 carat piece was auctioned by christie’s in may 2014, it was bought by harry Winston, and named by its ceo, Nayla Heyek, in honor of the company’s legendary founder. The deal was worth $23.8 million, which exceeded the expectatio­ns of the people at christie’s.

THE PERFECT PINK DIAMOND $23.2 million

Pink diamonds are beautiful. They have gained in popularity in recent years. many of them have been sold for eight-figure sums in the past few years. The Perfect Pink is a 14.23 carat diamond. This rare beauty was sold for $23.2 million in november 2010. Pink diamonds are so rare that christie’s have sold only around 20 such stones (over 10 carats) in around 250 years of history.

HUTTON-MDIVANI JADEITE NECKLACE BY CARTIER $27.44 million

This magnificen­t necklace is made of 27 large jadeite beads, whose diameters range from 15.4mm to 19.2mm. This once belonged to the famous socialite Barbara hutton, daughter of retail tycoon frank W. Woolworth. it is mounted by cartier with a beautiful ruby and diamond clasp.

WITTELSBAC­H GRAFF DIAMOND $24.3 million

The prestigiou­s gemstone Wittelsbac­h-Graff Diamond has a history which goes as far back as the 17th century- created in1664 for king Philip IV of Spain for his daughter’s dowry. True or not, it is known to have resided with a series of european royal families, where it was lost and recovered until in 2008, the jeweller Laurence Graff purchased and cut it into a 31.06-carat diamond.

EMERALD AND DIAMOND TIARA $12.7 million

This emerald and diamond tiara holds 11 very rare colombian emerald pear-shaped drops weighing around 500-carats. its previous owner was Princess katharina henckel von Donnersmar­ck of old upper hungary, circa 1900. Sotheby’s magnificen­t and noble Jewels sold it for $2 million more than its original estimated price in 2011.

THE PATIALA NECKLACE $25 million

The Patiala necklace owned by maharaja Bhupinder Singh of india was stolen in 1948, although parts of it were recovered in a London antique shop in 1998. it originally had 5 rows of diamondenc­rusted platinum chains and 2,930 diamonds at 962.25-carats! in the center 7 large diamonds, each between 18-carats and 73-carats surmounted a pendant holding the iconic 18-carat tobacco coloured De Beers diamond, alongside 2 rubies weighing 29.58-carats!

THE GRAFF PINK $46.2 million

This rare 24.78-carat pink diamond is nick named ‘pink panther’ and considered the “greatest diamond ever discovered for its classifica­tion”. Little is known about its origins, but harry Winston sold it recently in an auction to jeweler, Laurence Graff. its price is one of the highest ever spent on a piece of jewelry!

MOUWAD INCOMPARAB­LE DIAMOND NECKLACE $55 million

The 637-carat diamond set on a 18k gold necklace is named the world’s most expensive by Guinness World records! The natural deep-yellow diamond is the largest internally flawless diamond graded by the Gemologica­l institute of america. adorning the huge center stone are 35 round diamonds, 27 pear-shaped diamonds, 9 heart-shaped diamonds, 5 emerald-cut diamonds, 5 cushion diamonds, 4 oval diamonds, 3 asscher-cut diamonds and 2 radiant diamonds. Phew!

THE ORANGE DIAMOND $35.5 million

This orange diamond was auctioned by christie’s in Geneva in november 2013. at that point in time it was the largest fancy vivid orange diamond to be sold this way. it was sold for $35.5 million, blowing its estimated value of $21 million out of the water. it was a world record.
