MAKE A LINEN INVESTMENT
A shoo-in for work is cotton. A lighter option and especially on days when the sun is baring down with a vengeance is linen. You are advised to have more of the latter. There is a certain elegance to white, linen shirts, that other fabric cannot simply provide. Plus, it’s a feel that works for both formal and casual, for a night out and for Sunday just hanging around with your guys.

Don’t wait for an all-white party dress code to make an all-white statement. This is either reserved for a special occasion or you can rock it for a casual day. Either way it still works. This is the beauty of this unassuming colour. It is what you make of it. With velvet slip-ons, or woven slippers, you can swing this any way you want.
UNDERSHIRT STATEMENT
Most people don’t wear unmarked white tees because they don’t want to run the risk of being perceived as wearing an undershirt as main dress. Quick question, who cares? Round necks, v-necks, scoop necks, under shirtlooking shirts are your easy option out of things to wear to run errands, attend PTA meetings, house parties, for date night – they are super versatile and can work with anything you pair them with. If you are going with track pants, you’ve got the athleisure vibe down; if jeans and boots, hello, concert! And if it is indeed your undershirt you’re wearing, do with the arrogance of Kanye West. No one will be the wiser!
