Who is Ini?

My name is Ini Dima-Okojie. I am an Actor. I believe in taking each day as it comes and living life to the fullest. I am extremely passionate about people I love and the work I do.

What deos style mean to you?

Style to me is a form of self-expression. It’s unique to every individual, it’s empowering, it’s best worn with confidence, and most importantly it’s FUN!!

Best colour?

I’m a girly girl, I love fuchsia pink, but I don’t like wearing pieces in that colour. I love love wearing muted tones

Beauty secret

I don’t have a particular beauty secret. To be honest, I think a stress free mind and happy heart will keep anyone looking young and radiant.

Best Perfume

My signature is Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo, but recently I discovered Versace Crystal Noir. So now they are both fighting for my attention.

Flats or Heels?

Oh heels!!! Heels heels heels!. The world is my runway when I wear a pair of fab heels.

What item do you have most of?

Probably accessories and shoes. I think how you choose to accessorize can make or break your entire outfit.

Cannot go a day without?

Nothing... I’m too much of a free spirit to be so clingy to anything.

You cannot be caught wearing?

You know that Lycra fabric... Ugh! I do not like it at all.

Most Expensive item in your wardrobe

That would probably be this classic neckpiece I ‘obtained’from my mum. She’s had it since the 70’s. It’s so unique, you just don’t see pieces like that anymore.

Best Designer

Oh I love my Fablandbyderin (it’s an upcoming Nigerian brand) of course there are a lot of other International and Nigerian fashion houses I love. But I love working with Fablandbyderin.

Style Icon

My mum for sure!!! She has always been so stylish and still influences my style choices till date.

Fears

I only fear God!. And maybe rats.

What people do not know about you?

I started my first business when I was about 6/7 years old. So I would make greeting cards and sell them to my Uncles and Aunties. Of course they indulged me.

Do you see yourself as fashionable or stylish?

I would say stylish...I think being fashionable means you’re always on trend. Sometimes I’m on trend, other times I’m completely off but I stay very true to myself, always. The most important thing to me is putting pieces together that express how I feel and to have fun while doing it.

Favourite saying

“Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you react to it”.

Worst fashion moment

I actually stand by every fashion choice I’ve made, whether it seemed to have ‘worked’ at the time or not. I remember when I was about 7 years old and even then I was very strong willed when it came to my style, and I would insist on tucking my oversized tees in my leggings (just picture it lol) I remember my siblings telling me I looked crazy, but I was persistent. Still the same today.
