Hair Stylist Extraordinaire Destiny Joseph of DV Reloaded Salon and his Team of hair stylists styled most of the hair that graced the runway of the 2018 Arise Fashion week. He shares his experience with us at Style about working backstage and getting the model ready to hit the runway. This isn’t your first time working on Arise Fashion Week, what stood out about this one that just took place?

This by far has been the best Arise Fashion Week that has happened. I also think its was one of the best fashion week in Nigeria so far and I enjoyed working as one of the head hair stylist on the show. What was your experience working backstage with over a 100 models?

My experience working with over 100 models was mind blowing, there were different faces and I gave them different hairstyles which was tasking but well worth all the work in the long run. What inspired some of the hairstyles you created for the runway shows?

We had an international head stylist who gave us direction with the hair, ours was just to execute the plan but they were mostly hair trend on international runways around the world. Which models do you most enjoy working with?

I enjoyed working with all the models to be honest but few stood out for me which are Oluchi and Imaan Hammam, for obvious reasons of course because they are super models. If you were to describe Arise Fashion Week in one word what will it be? Amazing!
