There’s a quote that says

- FASHION DIRECTOR/EXECUTIVE EDITOR

“It’s the clothed body that triumphs”. This doesn’t just apply to the physical, it also applies to every other aspect of life. It applies mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially. What you portray on the outside is always what is judged, wrongfully or rightfully, because you only show what you want people to see. But life, in itself, goes way beyond that. There is so much more to anyone that meets the eye which leads me to my next point. Many a time, we see women dressed to the nines looking like a gazillion dollars. Most times, you automatically assume that if they can get it right with their outward appearance, surely what lies underneath must be equally as well put together. But surprisingly, that is not always the case. This time around, let’s talk about the physical aspect of that quote. Let’s talk about what women wear underneath their ensemble.

One of such inner wears is the choice of Bras. Till date, there are still women who wear the wrong sized Bras. They either wear cup sizes too big or too small and it’s usually more of the latter than the former. In ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BRAS, we give a step by step guide on how to choose your correct Bra size. It is amazing how the right Bra can make an outfit sit and fit much better on you. More important, especially if you are chest heavy, the right Bra will give you much more comfort because for those who know, mammary glands can weigh a ton if not well supported. To again revert to the said quote, let’s talk about the mental and spiritual aspect. You see, what lies within you is just as, if not more important, than what people see on the outside. Macbeth says “There is no art to find the mind’s construction in the face”. Our Cover personality this week, FOLORUNSO ALAKIJA, personifies this. Even though she has been globally acclaimed as one of the richest women in Africa, her material wealth pales to nothing compared to her abundant love for God. The truth is, hard as it may be to believe, especially in this harsh climate we live in, money is not everything. All the wealth in the world does not automatically translate to everlasting happiness as you can never be truly happy if you have no peace within. That, in my view is the foundation of true happiness. Fact. In her riveting interview Alakija accords Him all the glory for the blessings He has bestowed upon her. This love for her maker is her real source of joy regardless of her abundant wealth. At, 70, she is fulfilling her purpose in life by serving Him first, and she continues to strive to do so.

My point here basically is, after all said above, there is always more to appearances than meets the eye. Life is much deeper than what you see and as such, seeking a deeper understanding of the God you serve far outweighs the love of anything else.
