PRINCESS OLUSOLA ADEDOYIN JOINS POLITICS

Princess Olusola Adedoyin, exManaging Director of the defunct City Express Bank, is set to contest for the Senatorial seat of Kwara South constituency in Kwara State under the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP). The seat is currently being occupied by Senator Simon Ajibola.

54- year-old Adedoyin, who is also a pastor with Redeemed Christian Church of God, is one of the popular aspirants vying for the position in her constituency and her campaign slogan is: “Child of Destiny”.

Society Happenings gathered that her ambition was inspired pleas from her people who had been neglected due to lack of proper representation in the parliament.

Apart from her track record in the private sector and the fact that she has a deep war chest to prosecute her aspiration, Adedoyin, daughter of the Kwara State-born multi-millionaire, Chief Samuel Adedoyin, is also reported to be very close to the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan.
