- Favour Shuabia in Lafia

The Director General Agabi campaign organization, Mr. John Mamman has argued that the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) had all it takes to tackle the insecurity problem in Nasarawa state if candidate for 2015 governorship election in the state, Alhaji Yusuf Muhammad Agabi was elected into power.

Mamman who stated this in Lafia, Nasarawa state capital said the PDP governorship candidate had what it takes to put a stop to the problem of insecurity that had engulfed the state in the past four months, “what Nasarawa state needs is a good leader that can bring the state to its enviable heights in the areas of security, youth and economic empowerment as well as wealth creation” Mamman added.

According to him, if Agabi was elected as governor of Nasarawa state, his priority would be to ensure the security of lives and property of every citizen of the state, calling on the people to join hand with them to ensure the success of Agabi in the 2015 election.

Commenting on the chances of Agabi in the February 2015 election, Mamman said, “We leave everything to God who gives power to whoever He want ”, but assured that his candidate would win with overwhelming votes during the election.

“Agabi has a roadmap for the state in the areas of security, education, job creation, agriculture, health among others, but all these could not be achieved unless if there is peace, no meaningful development can be achieved, we have roadmap for development in the state, but our major priority will be on the protection of lives and property of our people, he assured.

“Although I appreciated what Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura has done in the state in the past three and half years, but much needs to be done for the remaining months particularly on the current insecurity that is bedevilling the state where brothers cannot see face to face due to crisis and hatred, and the government has deliberately refused to put an end to it; thereby putting the state in a bad light.”
