MTN Partners PEP On Voucher Retail

Customers can now easily shop MTN products at PEP Stores across the country, the two companies announced recently in Lagos. This was facilitated by a partnership dealA recently announced by the companies.

According to the partners in the deal, the development will enable customers top up with MTN airtime while shopping in PEP stores nationwide.

General Manager, Busi- ness Development, Sales & Distribution MTN, Kola Oyeyemi, while speaking on the partnership said MTN puts its customers first. He added that ‘the company only partners those whose philosophy is inline with ‘putting the customer first’.

He noted that the partnership was to make MTN products and services more available in nooks and crannies of the country with the hope of greater things to come from both companies.

In her remarks, Financial Manager PEP Nigeria, Kofo Awonuga described the partnership as the story of two powerful brands who combined to serve Nigeria better.

She stated that the partnership is another innovative way of meeting the needs of customers and with this, she said PEP “will also assist MTN to achieve its vision of helping Nigeria’s growth and development.”

PEP stores provides lifeline to local people with affordable, good quality merchandise such as clothes, shoes, and home accessories.

It is one of Africa’s largest single brand retailer with 28 stores across the country. According to Kofo, “PEP aims to expand with four more shops before the end of 2015 and extend to 50 in within the next three years.”
