Ayetoro Traditional Council Hails Melaye’s Victory

The Ayetoro-Gbede Traditional Council in Kogi State has attributed the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate, Hon. Dino Melaye as the senator-elect, Kogi West senatorial district to his enormous contributions to the development of the district.

In a congratulatory letter signed on behalf of the council by Mr. Samson Bello and Chief David Leke, who are the acting council chairman and the secretary respectively, the body noted that Melaye’s electoral victory was well deserved.

“The news of the outcome of the election did not come to us as a surprise, because going by your socio-political and economic antecedents; we were certain you deserved nothing but outright incontrovertible victory.

“The numerous immeasurable contributions towards the development and progress of your immediate community, Kogi State and the nation at large since you came into political limelight speak volumes in your favour,” the body noted.

While praying for God’s guidance in his political endeavour, the council noted: “Ayetoro Traditional Council is proud of you and we are short of words to express gratitude for the victory.”
