Abolurin reiterated that efforts had been put in place by the government to make the exercise smooth and hitch free, hence its deployment of personnel to every nooks and crannies of the states especially the identified flashpoints considered notorious and volatile.

He reiterated that the peace and unity of Nigeria cannot be jettisoned under any guide, warning that any personnel found wanting or suspected to be involved in electoral offences would be dealt with, warning that the corps will not tolerate any action that falls short of the highest level of moral and professional conduct.
