Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom and Edaiken N’Uselu, Prince Eheneden Erediauwa, has joined numerous Nigerians in congratulating General Muhammadu Buhari on his victory in the March 28 presidential poll.

The Crown Prince also congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan for his magnanimity in accepting defeat, saying his quick acceptance of defeat has helped to save the nation from upheaval.

Also commended was the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega and his commissioners for leaving up to expectation in the task of conducting the elections in the most peaceful and credible manner.

In a congratulatory message signed on his behalf by Frank Irabor, Secretary, Benin Traditional Council and made available to THISDAY in Benin City, the Edaiken N’Uselu said he has no doubt that Buhari would use his new exalted office as the in-coming president together with his deputy, Prof. Yemi Oshibajo (SAN), to bring about the desired peace, development and change not only to Nigerians but to the nation in general, adding that Nigerians hope for a new and better Nigeria as enshrined in his ideology and party manifesto.

While urging Buhari to steadfast in his doings and dealings with issues of national development always especially now that the needed change Nigerians crave for has come, the Benin Crown Prince described his election as a manifestation of the wishes of the Nigerian people to elect a leader of their choice irrespective of the political parties that contested the election.
