NBA-SBL Targets Economy Regulators at 9th Business Law Conference

The Nigerian Bar Association’s Section on Business Law has finalised plans to engage industry regulators at its annual business law conference which kicks off on June 7-9 2015 at Eko Hotel and Towers.

The 9th in its series, this year’s conference is aptly themed “Regulators as Catalysts for Economic Growth’.

Speaking to a cross-section of the media last Thursday, the SBL Council Planning Committee members led by the Section’s Chairman, Mr. Asue Ighodalo said it is a well-timed conference because it coincides with an election year and a period in Nigeria’s history where citizens have higher expectations from elected and appointed government officials. This year’s conference, SBL Chairman Mr. Ighodalo observed would be radically different in content and sessions from previous conferences as lawyers will be treated to a total of 9 sessions in all.
