VDT Clinches Three Awards
VDT Communications clinched three awards in the recently held Beacon of ICT (BoICT Awards), distinguished lecture and award series 2015 edition, organised by the Nigerian CommunicationsWeek Magazine.
The three awards earned by VDT Communications, are among the most coveted awards for 2015 Beacon of ICT awards.
The BoICT awards whose awardees were selected through a stringent and credible voting process, was instituted since 2008 by CommunicationsWeek, Nigeria’s weekly ICT magazine.
VDT Communications is a leading broadband service provider including-national VPN/MPLS backbone, metrowireless, digital leased circuit and corporate internet. Her network trunks are interconnected with IP-MPLS technology to provide the largest IP-MPLS network in Nigeria with the edge in metro wireless distribution of access network to numerous customers.
VDT has been recording outstanding achievements in the Nigeria’s ICT industry. It is ISO 9001 certified and the 1st ISO 20000-1:2011 telecom company in West and Central Africa for quality ICT service management. The company is the principal partner in the Bitflux consortium that won the 2.3GHz Spectrum bid that was auctioned in February 2014. About 80 per cent of the banks in Nigeria uses VDT services, showing a high degree of premium quality and reliability of her services.
