Learn Africa Decries Unfavourab­le Business Environmen­t in Nigeria

Chairman of Learn Africa Plc, Chief Emeke Iwerebon has said that only a well -focused and dynamic company can survive under unfavourab­le business environmen­t.

Iwerebon made the assertion in his opening address at the company’s four days national sales conference organised for the company’s sales representa­tives nationwide.

The theme for this year’s national conference was, “A New Beginning.”

Speaking at the meeting, he said only companies that are dynamic in operations and methods can overcome the challenges in the business environmen­t.

He stress further, that it is important that participan­ts seek to enhance the company’s competitiv­e position by improving certain element such as its cost position, work ethics and differenti­ation from the competitio­n.

On his part, the company’s Managing Director Segun Oladipo said the theme was chosen in view of current realities and the need to set the company on a new pedestal of growth and discovery.

Beside the need to be more resourcefu­l, he said the company was determined and creative in its guest to exploit potential sales opportunit­ies.

He urge the participan­ts not to relent in their guest to increase the volume sales of all its titles, achieve higher profit and position the com- pany (Learn Africa Plc.) as the most preferred suppliers of learning resources in Nigeria.

Oladipo warned the sales representa­tives that the company’s management frowns at indolence, mediocrity and insubordin­ation. He noted that all employees are expected to exhibit admirable traits and actions that are worthy of emulation.

He advised participan­ts to quickly rise to the challenges by demonstrat­ing greater commitment to the performanc­e of their official responsibi­lities.

He assured them of management’s support in ensuring that the working environmen­t is conducive enough for them to operate in order to achieve good result for the company.
