At the launch, recently in Lagos, the company's Brand and Communication Director, Auscar Ikoro explained that the product was suitable for children due to the added DHA Supplements.
According to him, the omega-3 fatty acid, Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) supports proper/optimal brain health and IQ development at all ages of life, providing brain-boosting benefits in infants and aging adults.
Mr. Ikoro added that the brand, which is a follow up to their premium Nutri-Milk brand, is in response to distributors and consumers' demand, Insisting that NUTRI-MILK SUPERKIDS is the nest best thing for every Nigerian Child. "We decided to introduce this brand that will totally touch the lives of Children and to fill a void that has been existing in other products within the same category. This void was to support children's mental development. It was regulated and approved by National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). Omega 3 fatty acid is added to Nutri-Milk super kid to nourish the child and bring out the brilliance in him, and to further propel him to strive for the best Academically, Creatively and at Play," he said.
The new product, which comes in 210Ml pet bottles of Apple pineapple and orange tastes was unveiled amidst pomp and glamour by the General Manager, CWAY Food and Beverages, Mr. Figo Zheng, supported by other top managers.
Attesting to the product's quality, the representative of Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Mrs. Yetunde Akinlabi commended that through its numerous quality products, CWAY has immensely contributed to Nigeria's economic growth.
"I want to assure Nigerians that SON continually monitors the quality of Cway products. They should be assured that this product is of quality and suitable for consumption. Also, the company has put in place good hygiene and manufacturing processes for their brands," she said.
The event also attracted various school pupils, Distributors, and other stakeholders, who were all full of praises for CWAY and the timely introduction of the NutriMilk Superkids brand.
CWAY distributors who graced the occasion, expressed optimism that the new brand would go a long way in dominating the market, adding that it was already being accepted by retailers and consumers. Pupils from Solid Foundation Nursery and Primary School and the Cedar-world Nursery and Primary school later filed out in their numbers to have a taste of the latest product in town.
CWAY started operations in Nigeria in year 2000 and has since grown to become a leader within its sector with operations around the country and the world.
