Tola Odusote Loses Dad

The death has been announced of Alhaji Omooba Abayomi Abdul-Maroof Odusote (AkA Baba Janlaku). He died on May 7, 2015 at the age of 75, and has sincebeenburiedaccordingtoIslamicrites.AlhajiOdusotestartedasateacher andlaterascivilservantinthetaxunitofIjebuOdeLocalGovernmentinthe70s. He was one of the great-grand children of King Yisau Odusote of the Onitasin Imobi Royal Kingdom; and from the Onimupa and the Egbo Royal Family in Ijebu Ode. The late Omooba Odusote popularly known as Baba Janlaku, was survivedbysisters,nephews,cousins,fourwivesand17childrenamongwhom areMr.AdetolaOdusote,ofCMCConnectBurson-Marsteller,formerEditorof BRANDfacesMarketingMagazineandtheSecretaryGeneralofPublicRelations Consultants Association ofNigeria(PRCAN); and Dr. AdegbuyiJamiuOdusote (Phd),seniorlecturerattheFacultyofEngineering,UniversityofIlorin,KwaraState.
