Contestant­s that made it to this stage grabbed the semi final ticket that will shut down Ilesa on Friday. In addition to the Fuji musicians, Baba Tee, a notable comedian, is also billed to perform in the star studded event while Odunlade, Sanyeria are also expected to heat up the stage.

Ejire Performer, Akeem Okiki, Wole Anobi, Saheed Ishola, Adebola Muhammed, Ajape Wahab, Idris Aloma, Adeniyi Ibrahim, Ogede Azeez, Opeyemi, Olaleye Ojo, Musbau Ayinde, Ibrahim Akanbi and Wole Alabi were among the contestant­s that won the marks of the judges at the tension soak quarter final performanc­es. The event is expected to provide lasting connection moment for fans, supporters and the entire people of Ilesa.

Olaniyi Afonja, a yoruba movie actor, and also a judge on the show, stated that the task is becoming tougher for the judges as the contestant­s have not only matured, but coming up with different twist to their act on stage.

He further revealed that the semi final will not be business as usual as the contest has gotten to the stage where someone that will emerge as the winner must be more that the best on stage.

Another judge, Alhaji Sikiru Agboola, a veteran in the industry, said that, the Goldberg Fuji T’o Bam consumer engagement platform which “over past editions has created credibilit­y and fairness for all contestant­s is the first Fuji music talent hunt in the history of Fuji music in Nigeria. It gladdens my heart that it is further setting the bar which every other brand must fight to meet.”

He said, the contest has moved to a stage where the lucky contestant­s would enjoy mentoring and career direction tutors as well as meeting with other notable elders that will help shape their minds and careers.

It would be recalled that, Mr. Kufre Ekanem, the Corporate Affairs Adviser of Nigerian Breweries Plc had explained during the kickoff of the competitio­n that it will take place across key cities in South West Nigeria with notable Yoruba actors, like Sanyeri, KamiluKomp­o, Mr. Latin and OdunladeAd­ekola gracing the event from the quarter final to the grand finale stages.

Ilesha in Osun State will host the semifinal, while the grand finale which will hold in Ibadan is expected to be an exciting life changing experience for the finalists

and fans.

Fayrouz L’Original Expression Show competitio­n has moved its audition train to the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State.

The auditions, billed to hold at Internatio­nal Student Center Conference Hall, University of Port Harcourt, will have talented students from within the campus and other cities within the South Region, come out to showcase their artistic talents in the areas of fashion designing, modelling, photograph­y and make up artistry.

Like the previous audition, the jury comprises grounded fashion experts like ace photograph­er,Kelechi AmadiObi, National Retail Artiste House of Tara Rhema Akabuogu and renowned designers, Mai Atafo and Kunbi Oyelese of April by Kunbi.

The winning team will be chosen to represent the region and contest with four other teams at the semi-final stage of the competitio­n holding at the Obudu Cattle ranch, Calabar in June.
