When did you choose the photography path?

Right from time, whenever I look at a picture, I am usually more impressed by the person behind the camera rather than the subject in front of it. My dad was also heavily involved in photography in the earlier stages of his life, so I grew up with cameras of all shapes and sizes revolving around me. I decided to take photography classes as free electives in my senior year. This was decision that brought my life-long dream into reality.

What were you into before photography?

I always wanted to be in the financial sector. If there’s also another thing I’m great at, it’s finding the most efficient way to increase productivity. The awesome thing about the skill I possess is that it could be applied to your everyday life.

Who have you worked with over time?

I worked with many great photographers on and off the field. Some of them include Tanawat Likitkererat, Ayo Efunla, Emily Nkanga, amongst many other great enthusiasts of the art. I have covered several events for Jagged Edge Records, Bheerhugz Café, families, and friends. I’m also really fond of kids so it’s always fun capturing moments they will grow to cherish.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Five years down the line, I see my skills evolving way beyond where they are right now. I am certain to be amongst the top photographers not only in Nigeria, but also on the planet, being driven by my enthusiasm and love for the art. I am also the kind of person that loves to give back, so I would help out with projects for community development because I know how powerful a tool a camera is for passing critical messages along to people.
