Visafone Free Roaming Mobile App Excites Customers
The newly launched Visafone Communications Limited Internet-powered voice, video and messaging solution for smartphones, tablets and windows desktops is already emerging as an instant hit and creating huge excitement among subscribers on the network.
According to download statistics, the app is an instant favourite for the network’s travelers who roam. It is currently available on Google Play and Apple store for the provision of seamless communication abilities across devices for use in Nigeria or overseas.
The mobile app enables customers to receive incoming calls while roaming at zero roaming charges and also allow them to make calls to Nigerian numbers at home tariffs. App to App calling is free allowing customers to make local and international calls at zero cost.

According to the company, “Visafone App is an application that allows you to make audio and video phone calls at low rates and sends instant messages to all other Visafone app users for free. The App is available over WiFi or 4G/ 3G wireless networks and can be downloaded and installed on any Android smartphones, Tablets, Windows desktops and Apple iPhones / iPads in the first phase; the app will be launched on BlackBerry platform in the next phase.”
Visafone listed the benefits of the app to include retention of same unique number which can be used across devices (tablet, mobile phone, windows PC); call cost from your Visafone APP would be the same as your existing Visafone Mobile line, irrespective of your location; calls to your Visafone mobile line when switched off are forwarded at no cost to your Visafone App on any device where the App is installed.
“The app can be downloaded by existing Visafone customers or new customers and follow a simple registration and authentication process by filling in the particulars of contact numbers and email id. New customers will be required to comply with the biometric registration as per regulatory requirements,” the company said.
