As the race to Lugard House gathers momentum, a prominent politician in Kogi State and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nwadinobi Kelechi, has called on the people to vote for Sunday Odoma Edibo for the change that the state needs.

In a chat with journalists in Lokoja over the weekend, Kelechi lamented over the present level of infrastructure decay, stressing that it is only an experienced politician like Edibo that can save Kogi from from imminent collapse.

According to him, Edibo remained the most transparent, credible and experienced amongst the numerous aspirants jostling for the ticket of the party and urged delegates to vote massively for him in the forthcoming delegate election of the party.

He expressed confidence that given his background as a former tutor and lecturer, Edibo will transform the educational sector, which Kelechi said is in a very bad shape due to the misrule of the PDP government in the state.

He called on all other aspirants to put the interest of the state and its people ahead of personal interest by allowing Edibo to fly the flag of the party in the governorship election slated for November, 2015 for the over all transformation of the state.

“I urge all the other aspirants to put the interest of the state, the people and the party above any personal interest by allowing him to fly the flag of our great party. He is the man to beat.

“Edibo will work towards generating massive employment opportunities through the effective development of the agricultural sector. He will reduce, youths restiveness, poverty and under development,” he added.
