Boko Haram bombing survivor and campaigner

On a field research trip for her master degree in poverty and development, Member Fesse, 28, went to the United Nations building in Abuja on 26th August, 2011, when a Boko Haram bomb was detonated a few metres from where she stood. 21 people died and a 100 injured including Fesse who survived and is now standing tall campaigning for the less privileged through her NGO, Team Member.
