As Euro 2016 qualifiers continue from tomorrow across Europe, Nigeria’s fast growing satellite broadcasting network, StarTimes, has promised that all the matches are to be aired live on its sports channels.

StarTimes’ Manager, Public Relations and Communications, Israel Bolaji, confirmed at the weekend that matches of the FIVB Women Volleyball World Cup, are also not going to be left out for the enjoyment of the pay-tv subscribers.

Euro 2016 qualifiers will kick off tomorrow with Azerbajian taking on Croatia by 5.00 p.m., while the games involving Netherlands and Iceland, Belgium and Bosnia Herzegovina, Italy and Malta, as well as Czech Republic versus Kazakhstan will begin by 7.45 p.m.

“On Friday, Georgia will meet Scotland, Germany will host Poland, Portugal will meet France, while Hungary and Romania will round off the day’s matches.

“Saturday is filled with exciting games, including the San Marino against England tie. There are also matches involving Spain and Slovakia, Russia and Sweden, Switzerland against Slovenia, Ukraine versus Belarus, and Austria against Moldova.”

Bolaji stressed that followers of the top European leagues, which are on break because of the international games, will still enjoy games involving their stars next week, with Turkey and Netherlands kicking off the week’s activities on Sunday.

There are also matches involving Italy and Bulgaria, he said, adding, however, that the game of the day would be the match between Norway and Croatia.

“We have the exclusive rights to all these games, including the Cyprus match against Belgium, Wales versus Israel and Iceland against Kazakhstan, which would hold by 7.45 p.m.”

Aside the European qualifiers, Bolaji revealed that subscribers to StarTimes also have the privilege of following the FIVB Women Volleyball World Cup, which began yesterday.

Teams in the competition are Kenya, Algeria, Cuba, USA, Russia, Japan and Dominican Republic.

“The matches will be broadcast live on StarTimes channels every match day,” he concluded.
