Wondering if the Governor will attend, knowing that this is not likely to be so during the last administration; former Governor Raji Fashola remained an unrepentant open antagonist of Lagos doctors, dashing them sack letters intermittently and consistently selecting doctors for punishment in the course of the struggle to make the Lagos health sector better and raising the bar of enumeration to the level of other public sector doctors in the country. Back to the AGM activities, Lagos residents are expected to take advantage of the health outreach slated for popular Ojuelegba motor park on Monday, September 7, 2015, where medical consultation, basic medical examination and other health promotion activities will be available cost-free. In the same vein, participating doctors at the AGM’s continuous medical education (CME) sessions would use the opportunity to mop up associated continuous professional development (CPD) points. I wish the Lagos doctors a happy ending of the 2015 AGM.
