Membere-Otaji for Inauguration as PHCCIMA President

The Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) has announced programmes for the inauguration of its new President, Dr. Emi Membere-Otaji which comes up on November 20, 2015 at Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Prior to his stepping up into the office of the President, he had held various positions in the Chamber, including 1st Deputy Vice President. He is a medical Doctor with diverse interests in health delivery matters.

Dr. Membere Otaji who is into oil and gas as well as marine businesses is the Managing Director of Elschon Group of companies with specialisation in Marine and Oil and gas; has his hands in many business pies which he is running profitably.

He is among other things, credited for the introduction of ambulances at strategic locations in Rivers State to make for quick movement of serious health cases to hospitals for treatment, especially emergency cases before he left politics for private business life.

The ubiquitous achiever is the Chairman of Princess Medical Center; Chairman of Bodyboost Fitness and Health Club, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Solcom Investment Limited and Coordinator, Port Harcourt chapter World Energy Cities Partnership; Mentor, Fate Foundation as well as Trustee, Marine Equipment Owners/Leasing Association of Nigeria (MEOLAN) and Chairman, Marine Group TIG 06, Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) among others.

He is a member Governing Board of the University of Port Harcourt and has a leaning towards education with several appointments into bodies in the sector.
