MAAN ORGANISES ITS 5TH ANNUAL ONE-DAY WORKSHOP The Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria (MAAN) is organising its 5th Annual one-day workshop.The Workshop is scheduled for Friday, the 20th of November, 2015 at the Hon Justice A. Fatayi-Williams Hearing Room, The International Centre for Arbitration and ADR, No 1A, Remi Olowude Street, Lekki Second Roundabout, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos at 9 am. The one day workshop is designed to provide participants with deep insight regarding ADR and Arbitration in the Maritime industry. The workshop brings together a wide range of interesting topics presented by leading practitioners in the field of Arbitration/ ADR. The topics to be discussed at the Workshop are: • The Role of Tribunal Registrars in Maritime Arbitration – A Practitioner’s Perspective; • The Role of Tribunal Registrars in Maritime Arbitration – AYoung Member’s Perspective; • Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Development Act 2010 - Its Implications for Alternative Dispute Resolution - A Legal Perspective; and • Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Development Act 2010 - Its Implications for Alternative Dispute Resolution - A Regulator’s Perspective.
