Hotsports Revs up Plans to Revitalise TV Production­s in Nigeria

The HS Media Group is in the final stage to give television content production a new meaning in the country.

Sports Editors from major national news publicatio­ns were taken on a media tour of HS Media Group studio facilities at its headquarte­rs in Oregun, Lagos yesterday.

The tour which was conducted by the Chairman of HS Media Group, Taye Ige was aimed at acquaintin­g the senior sports journalist­s with the modern broadcast facilities acquired by the company to boost quality television production. The tour took the editors round the five major ultra-modern studios and top grade post production video editing suites in the complex. According to Ige: “This facility will provide services for five operationa­l divisions of the company namely: HS Production and Marketing for independen­t television production, HS Teleport Services for satellite broadcast and transmissi­on, HS Sportsplus - a sports focused TV station, HS Studios for OB Vans and Production equipment for live coverages and HS TV College - a TV and media training school.” Ige also stated that with the state of the art equipment, the company is poise to maximum it’s target of churning out major television programmes that will highlight the Olympic Games, the EURO 2016 Championsh­ip in France the FIFA age-grade Women’s World Cup and a host of other major sports competitio­ns this year.
