Were Jite Okoloko, MD of Notore Fertilizer and his estranged wife, Mina, aware of this ugly reality, they might have steered their marriage on pliant course immediately it got caught in the storms. Now that their marriage has hit an iceberg, their once fabled love and camaraderie has chilled beyond redemption.
Mina was the first to get her groove back. Having spent the greater part of her marriage putting up appearances and deceiving the public that all was well with her and her husband, the ravishing beauty who runs the prestigious spa and beauty centre, Beauty Concerns, in Victoria Island, Lagos, has let go her antics to re- immerse herself in the exciting world of singleness and socio- political correctness. These days, you cannot miss the sprightliness in the gait of this half- Scottish lady. It’s a delight to see her bubble with immeasurable excitement. These are some of the things, Jite, her estranged husband, will miss about her although the boss of Notore Fertilizer has equally been associated with rumours of a second marriage. In the past few weeks, the high society has been agog with news of Jite’s alleged remarriage. Notwithstanding the rumours, Jite has not remarried, not yet; but he will do so pretty soon. He is very busy with work right now. Whether Mina will also remarry is a matter fit only for conjecture.
