REDAN,UNILAGtoBrainstorm on Enhancing Real Estate Value for Economic Growth
Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) and the Center for Housing Studies, University of Lagos plan to brainstorm on how to grow the nation’s economy through real estate.
The 2-Day intensive workshop, which has the Theme ‘Enhancing the Real Estate Value Chain for Increased Economic Growth, Inclusiveness and Employment Generation,’ is being organised with the support of Housing Programme on AIT Abuja and Housing Time on Raypower. It will hold from 9th-10thof March, 2016 at Musa Yar’Adua Center, Abuja.
A statement signed by Festus Adebayo, the workshop marketing consultant explained that “the workshop is aimed at up-scaling practitioners’ understanding of the business of real estate; navigating on ways and means to fund housing construction in a developing economy; enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of the housing development dynamics in Nigeria; and to broaden the understanding of financing module to build affordable housing from a vantage position.
He further said event would be declared open by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, and that it would attract estate developers, State Government Ministries of Lands and Housing, Primary Mortgage Banks, Pension Managers, Building Materials Manufacturers, and Professionals in the construction industry, among others. The REDAN 2016 Annual General Meeting will hold during the event.
