The BET Awards and the Grammy Museum will launch ‘Sounds of Africa’ exhibition in a bid to showcase the works of legendary African musicians. The exhibition seeks to celebrate the unique diversity of African music and some African legendary acts’ works will be showcased.

The launch of the exhibition would celebrate the unique diversity of African music, and spotlight African winners and nominees of both the Grammy Awards and the BET Awards.

According to VIMN Africa, the organisers of the event, they said some of the items to be displayed will feature handwritten lyrics, costumes and rare instruments, Monde Twala and many more. “It’s fantastic to see the influence of African artistes and music amplified in this unique exhibition in this iconic setting.
