Omogb eh in' s in a statement yesterday said timely intervention of the police and the Department of State Security, (DSS), would ensure that the monarch regained his freedom unhurt, noting that the abduction was creating state of uncertainty among the people of his constituency. While commending the efforts of the security operatives so far to rescue Oba Oyewun mi, Omogb eh in pleaded that involvement of all top stakeholders would complement the rescue operation. The People' s Democratic Party( P DP) legislator also urged men of the Nigerian Navy to assist in the situation since it was gathered that the suspected kidnappers escaped through the waterway at Ode-Iyasan. “This is strange in our land for a traditional ruler to be abducted in his palace, it is abomination, ungodly and attempt to desecrate the revered traditional institution in Yoruba land, I think all must rise against this singular callous and anti-people act.
