Bukunola Gadzama, Stickler for Excellence

-

Bukunola Gadzama the CEO, Buildcon Global Services, is making waves in the nation’s real estate sector.

Hers is a classic case of a professional blessed with a clear vision. She saw an opportunity and grabbed it with both hands.

Today, the accountant-turned real estate professional is taking the industry to a greater height in Nigeria, as her firm just completed its architectural masterpiece building, Pracht Gardens Estate.

According to her, the estate, which would be ready by April this year, consists of 40 units of four and five bedrooms fully detached duplexes as well as fourbedroomed terraces, and sits on a 21,000 metres square parcel of land in the Ikota area of Lagos State.

The estate, which is designed with the state-of-the-art facilities, is comparable to what is obtainable in other parts of the globe and structured to meet the basic requirements of subscribers who have taste for luxury.

It also boasts of a water treatment plant; fully-paved road; suitable shopping centre; 24 hours security electrical power transformer; closed-circuit television (CCTV) security technology; ample parking space; power supply and distribution; street lights; recreational centre for children; crèche as well as electrical fence wire.

It is being constructed by highly skilled architects and engineers who also have vast knowledge of interior designs that are expected in a dream home. Gadzama comes across as a woman who is not intimidated even by men in the sector. And she has been very successful in the field simply because of her abiding belief in handiwork, honesty and attention to details.

Indeed, this is the secret of her successful exploits and relevance in the nation’s real estate sector.

However, in spite of her giant strides in the industry, she believes that the best has yet to come for BuildCon. Happily married to Ayuba Gadzama from Borno State, she had worked as assistant general manager with CMB Building, Integrated Micro Finance Bank Nigeria Limited, British American Tobacco Nigeria Limited and National Bank of Nigeria.
