victims of Wonder Banks Scam, whereby our hard earned life investments were invested at Nospetco Oil and Gas Ltd.

"We are mostly retirees, cutting across the length and breadth of Nigeria. We were deceived to invest in Nospetco Oil and Gas Ltd., which was later found out to be scam.

"Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) thereafter got the account of Nospetco Ltd frozen and money so received was kept with CBN by SEC.

"It has been eleven agonising and painful years, that we have been trying to collect our money back from CBN. When we approached CBN, the bank confirmed that the money was in its custody, but it awaiting the order of the court to release our money to us.

"In fact, SEC has stopped coming to court, because they believed it was an act of injustice that our money has not been released to us by CBN.

"Our lawyer, Mr. Debo Adeleke won the case for us at Investment & Security Tribunal (IST). He equally won the case at the Court of Appeal, as well as Federal High Court, Lagos.

"Right now our case has been at Supreme Court since 2002. This is the reason why we are protesting, because the investors are dying daily. Most of us are octogenarians suffering from all sort of illness.

"We hereby, plead and passionately too, that the President, the Vice President, the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, should come to our rescue for the speedy trial of this case at the Supreme court.

"The case is about five years now at the Supreme Court with only eight adjournments. Please, help us, we are dying daily", Matiluko stated.
