French Expo Targets Nigeria’s Agricultural Sector Devt

The organisers of French expo Space 2017, Promosalons Nigeria, has stated that the agric fair scheduled to hold from the 12 to 15 September, 2017 in Rennes, France is targeted towards driving developmental growth in Nigeria’s agriculture, livestock, food, beverage and packaging industry.

Mr. Akin Akinbola, said Space is the world’s second largest livestock trade show that provides an excellent vector for developing employment in agriculture courtesy of its unique and diverse offering of top quality facilities and services. The expo which is in conjunction with Bretagne commerce international will be organising a Nigerian business delegation to this year’s edition of SPACE 2017, and thus afford the Nigerian business delegation a great opportunity to access and assess latest innovations and technological advancements in livestock production.
In a statement issued to THISDAY to announce the exhibition, the organisers said the fair is aiming to be even more professional, more international and friendlier, noting that Space 2017 has proven over time and with its track records and achievements is coming at the right time considering the current crises bedevilling the Nigerian agricultural sector.
“A very good example include the incessant clashes between the famers and the herdsmen in different parts of the country,” he added.
According to him, the fair would showcase the latest innovations and technological activities in livestock and cattle rearing from around the world and would provide an avenue where various methods and techniques that this was are available for animal feeds and productions.
“With the federal government’s proposing grazing locations in the affected areas and the States Governments creating bills to form the creations of ranches in their respective states, SPACE 2017 is the one-stop trade show where innovations and technologies can be explored and discovered in the improvement of livestock production and rearing,” he added.
