Texem Organises Another Executive Devt Programme
These Executive Minds (TEXEM), a UK based organisation, has organised yet another successful executive development programme. TEXEM’s executive programme for executives of organisations in the Nigerian private and public sector was held at Intercontinental Hotel, VI, Lagos, in September, with a good number of senior executives in attendance.
The theme of the programme was “Influencing and Negotiating for Value Creation in Turbulent Times and Prosperity”, and it was delivered by Ambassador John Buck and General Sir Nick Parker who both have vast experience in the areas of negotiating and influencing across multiple countries.
General Parker was formerly the Commander-in-Chief, Land Forces, and is presently a Senior Associate Fellow at Royal United Services Institute while Ambas- sador Buck is a Founding Director of Ambassador Partnerships and a former Director of British Gas and Ambassador of UK to Portugal.
Based on the present global change, it has become paramount for leaders to improve and develop their influencing and negotiating skills which are crucial to the financial and reputational growth of their organisations. TEXEM put the programme together to help executives achieve the primary objective.
Directors who attended the programme include Karen Daniels, Olufunke Smith, Abiodun Famuyiwa, Shehu Aliyu, Charles Osondu, Mr. O. Prakash Singh, Mr. Collins Ogbu, Mr. Mohammed Salaudeen, Mr. Funminiyi Odetayo, Sanusi Ismaila, Gbemi Sijuade, Ruth Osime, Victor Danboyi Ojogun, Queen Nkwocha, Innocent Unah, and Anthony Ogedengbe.
