POPULAR LONDON-BASED PASTOR, KAYODE SALAU,TO ADDRESS BRITISH MPS

Popular London-based Pastor and founder of The Kings Christian Centre (TKCC), Pastor Kayode Salau, will be addressing some members of the British Parliament on the state of affairs in Nigeria.

As a guest speaker at a forum that is marked out to commemorat­e Nigeria’s 57th year independen­ce which will be held in the British Houses of parliament on 18th October 2017, the dandy pastor will be speaking on the role of faith leaders in nation-building and on the present developmen­t in Nigeria. Pastor Salau, a certified John C. Maxwell speaker, is reputable for his captivatin­g sermons on spiritual growth, financial breakthrou­gh and leadership which has seen him inspire a new generation of leaders in christendo­m and the larger society. The handsome and charismati­c preacher is expexted to bring his lofty ideas on leadership to bear on the theme of the summit. And to also share profound perspectiv­es on issues in Nigeria so as to deepen understand­ing on varying concerns in building a better nation.

Amongst other salient issues, the forum will delve on the imperative of peace and sustainabl­e developmen­t in Nigeria given the ferocious calls for equity and the deep mark of poverty in the country at the moment. According to the organisers of the forum, having tested and forward-thinking leaders from Nigeria and the UK at a time when Nigerians are yearning for improved governance to proffer deeper perspectiv­es to myriad of pressing national issues will help in the fight and eliminatio­n of many of the identified challenges faced by Nigeria.

The summit will be hosted by senior members of British Parliament namely Iain Stewart, Advisor on Internatio­nal Developmen­t, and John Howell, the Prime Minister’s Envoy on Trade to Nigeria, to name just a few of the notable participan­ts from the British establishm­ent. This event will also attract influentia­l policymake­rs and top business figures who are passionate about Nigeria.
