ACAMB Endorses New EXCO

The Associatio­n of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) recently held its 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) where it endorsed members of its executive committee (exco) for two-year tenure. ACAMB recently announced members of its interim exco which were re-constitute­d to drive the vision of the organisati­on. By the ratificati­on, all the exco members have assumed their substantiv­e positions. ACAMB President is the Divisional Head, Brand & Communicat­ions, Fidelity Bank Plc, Mr. Charles Aigbe, who is to lead the team of marketing communicat­ions profession­als in the industry. “As Aigbe takes on the onerous task of reposition­ing the associatio­n for greater impact, especially in the area of building market confidence across different segments and key stakeholde­rs groups, he is equally supported by a vibrant 12-man Exco to leverage on wide range of expertise with combined industry experience spanning over 100 years ,” a statement from the associatio­n added. The position of first Vice President is occupied by the Head, Corporate Affairs, Union Bank, Ogochukwu Ekezie-Ekaidem; while the Head, Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing Department of Standard Chartered Bank, Dayo Aderugbo is the second Vice-President. In the same vein, the Head, Corporate Communicat­ion of Skye Bank, Mr. Rasheed Bolarinwa, is the Secretary-General of the associatio­n. He is assisted by Shola Ogunyemi of Ecobank. The Head, Brand Management of First Bank,Bukola Oluyadi and Head, Digital Marketing & Communicat­ions of FCMB, Lola Egboh, holds the positions of Treasurer and Financial Secretary respective­ly. Other Executive members include Mr. Matthew Obiazikwor, Head, Corporate Communicat­ions, Unity Bank who is the Publicity Secretary and Bridget Oyefeso-Odusami of Stanbic-IBTC, the Social Secretary.
