It is in furtherance of this that independent sources have confirmed to us that Sujimoto has raised over N1billion from local investors for a closelyguarded project in Banana Island. “The fact that such a secretive project could raise such a substantial investment completely from local investors has lent credence and confidence to the viability of the idea and the Nigerian real estate industry,” one of the dependable sources said.
Speculated to be a development of luxury terrace houses in the heart of Africa’s most expensive neighbourhood, no amount of prodding would make Sujimoto disclose his plans. Rather, to underscore his joy at the success of the funds raised, he recently took to social media to post a cryptic message; ‘The Storm Is Over.’ He went further to cause a viral frenzy when he promised to crown one lucky woman with a mind blowing proposal accompanied by generous gifts of a Rolls Royce Car and a house in Banana Island.
