Book on Selling Skills to Debut

-

A book on selling skills titled, Basic Selling (Reminiscences of a Nigerian Salesman) is set to be launched into the Nigerian market on December 12, 2017. The book, written by seasoned salesman, Deji Morakinyo, will be unveiled at the Protea Hotel, on Isaac John Street, Ikeja, Lagos. Basic Selling (Reminiscences of a Nigerian Salesman) is replete with local content examples on the subject of selling and, as such, differentiates itself from many other books in its category. According to Peter Letsuwa, Distributor Management Director at Guinness Nigeria, who wrote the foreword, “the book is timely and relevant to the sales and marketing constituency for coaching, people development intervention and leisure reading. It is also presented in a simple format similar to a “to- do list” for all salesmen,” he said. The official presentation of the book will feature a panel discussion on “selling in the digital age” which will be handled by sales and marketing professionals in different industries. In the same vein, the President, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) Mr. Tony Agenmonmen is billed to deliver the keynote speech while the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Lagos State, Mr. Rotimi Ogunleye will be the special guest of honour and Aare Fatai Odesile, Managing Director, Grand Oak will be the Chairman of the occasion.
