Travel Start,Virgin Un­veil Royal Wed­ding Promo


Africa’s lead­ing On­line Travel Agency, Trav­el­start, has part­nered with in­ter­na­tional air­line, Virgin At­lantic Air­ways to re­lease the ‘The Royal Wed­ding Promo’ which of­fers dis­counted flights from La­gos to Lon­don.

The agency said this ini­tia­tive was aimed at celebrating Nige­ri­ans love for wed­dings, us­ing one of the most pop­u­lar wed­dings of the sea­son, the Bri­tish Royal Wed­ding be­tween Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Ac­cord­ing to the com­pany, the promo would run from May 7 to 21, 2018 and would of­fer cus­tomers op­por­tu­nity to book cheap flights on Virgin At­lantic via trav­el­start.

The agency said the ex­clu­sive fare from La­gos to Lon­don and to any of Virgin At­lantic’s US routes is avail­able on all three cab­ins, Up­per Class, Pre­mium Econ­omy and Econ­omy while trav­ellers who pur­chase tick­ets dur­ing promo pe­riod would be able to travel from now until July 1, 2018 and af­ter Septem­ber 15, 2018.

Coun­try Man­ager of the on­line travel agency, Philip Akesson, added that the com­pany was bent on ful­fill­ing its prom­ise to make travel af­ford­able and con­ve­nient for its cus­tomers.

“We are proud to part­ner with Virgin At­lantic to fly Nige­ri­ans who love wed­dings, for the sum­mer. The promo shows our laser fo­cus in sat­is­fy­ing our cus­tomers as well as high­lights our fun brand essence. We are con­fi­dent that this part­ner­ship will strengthen the al­ready ex­ist­ing re­la­tion­ship our com­pany has with the air­line, ” he said.

Also speak­ing on the deal, Coun­try Man­ager of Virgin At­lantic, Sa­muel Lind­field said, “As a Bri­tish car­rier, we align on how to make our cus­tomers feel spe­cial. This is why we’re al­ways com­ing up with in­no­va­tive ways to make them feel com­fort­able, pro­vide value for money and cre­ate mem­o­ries as they travel. Our three new ways to fly Econ­omy show­cases this as well“.
