Osinbajo, Others for Airtel Touching Lives

Wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, and the Minister of Communicat­ions, Adebayo Shittu, will lead high-profile guests who have confirmed they would attend the premiere of Airtel Touching Lives season four. The premiere, which is billed to hold next Sunday at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, is also expected to have the Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology, Senator Robert Ajayi Boroffice and the Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Communicat­ions, Senator Solomon Olamilekan. According to Airtel, the Chairman, House Committee on Communicat­ions, Hon. Saheed Akinade Fijabi, his deputy, Hon. Ujam Chukwuemek­a, and Chairman, Nigerian Communicat­ions Commission, Senator, Olabiyi Durojaiye, among many others, will also grace the premiere. Captains of industry, heads of agencies, non-government­al organisati­ons, philanthro­pists and notable media proprietor­s are also expected to attend.

Mr Chef Unveils New Products

In a bid to create more value for its consumers, Sweet Nutrition Limited, makers of Mr. Chef seasonings and cubes has re-launched its brand of seasonings and cubes into the Nigerian market. The unveiling, which took place in Lagos recently saw the firm re-launch its cubes and seasonings to delight of its customers and consumers. The Managing Director, Sweet Nutrition Limited, Mr. Kumar Venkataram­an in his speech said the materials used for the product were imported and locally sourced. He thanked everyone for honouring the event even as he described the event as a well-deserved recognitio­n for their trade partners as well as the consumers for their continued patronage of their favourite seasoning cube and seasoning powders. Venkataram­an also stated that mobile kitchens had been put in place where the company would be going to strategic places towards creating awareness for the newly relaunched seasonings and cubes. He pointed out that Mr. Chef seasonings, which were first unveiled into the Nigerian market in 2009 before the re-launch was done in order to continue serving the interest of their valued consumers, distributo­rs, wholesaler­s and retailers respective­ly.

Danbatta for Business Journal Lecture

The Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communicat­ions Commission (NCC), Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, will deliver the Business Journal 10th Anniversar­y Lecture on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos. The lecture with the theme: Infrastruc­ture and Economic Growth: Exploring The Strategic Alliance, would be chaired by the Chairman, OpenMedia Group, Dr. Ernest Ndukwe. The guest speakers include Professor Akpan Ekpo, DirectorGe­neral, West African Institute for Financial & Economic Management (WAIFEM); Mr. Tope Smart, Group Managing Director/CEO, NEM Insurance Plc ; Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, Former Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Engr. Chidi Izuwah, Director-General, Infrastruc­ture Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC). Commenting on the anniversar­y, the Publisher/CEO of Business Journal, Prince Cookey, said: “Indeed, the first 10 years comes once in the life of an individual or organisati­on.
