Be Good Ambassador­s, Bridge House College Students Charged

Against the backdrop of rising cases of misdemeano­urs amongst teenagers and young adults, eminent Nigerians have charged the Bridge House College Lagos class of 2018 graduates to shun vices, be of good behaviours and go on to become the flagship of their generation.

The speakers included Youth Developmen­tal and Public Leadership expert and founder/ CEO of Rise Networks, Mrs. Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji; the Chief Executive Officer of BUA group, Abdulsamad Rabiu; former First Lady of Lagos, Dame Abimbola Fashola; member of the Ogun State Executive Council, Ms. Ronke Onadeko and the Executive Director of the college, Mrs. Foluke Abdulrasaq.

The speakers, who all spoke at the 14th Annual Graduation and Awards ceremony of the college held in Lagos recently, harped on the importance of being discipline­d and focused if they must achieve their potential and put to good use the training that they received from the school.

Highpoints of the ceremony included speech by the college ambassador, Abubakar Gobir; awards presentati­ons to distinguis­hed students and artistic presentati­ons by some of the graduating students.

In her keynote address, the guest speaker, Mrs. Akerele-Ogunsiji, who was named by Forbes Magazine as one of the 20 Most Powerful Young Women in Africa enjoined the graduating students to be focused on their academics when they travel abroad for their university education and to shun vices including drug abuses.
