The workshop, which was induced to improve the writing skill of many Nigerian writers, allows for the participants to understand the basic tool in writing. That, of course, includes how to put a particular sentence together with a view of becoming a better writer.

Furthermore, he added that the Write With Style Workshop is of importance as it will help to cultivate the culture of excellence not as a writer only but as a people as well and also produce good writers, emplace what it is to be literate and literary literate.

Among the topics covered at the workshop are: How To Write a Good Sentence, What Is Style?, What Is Euphony?, How To Use the Semicolon and Other Punctuation Marks, The basic Tools Needed to Write Reviews, Interviews, Reportage, Fiction and Creative Non-fiction and Who Pays Writers?

The two-day workshop, which pivoted on the premise that “Words run the world”, basically explored ways of making one’s own selection of words and collection of sentences standout. The idea is to make participants better writers through equipping them with the tools they need to produce distinctive writing.
