Late Funke Adedoyin’s Unfulfilled Dreams

Since the news of the death of Funke Deborah Adedoyin two Fridays ago, there have been sweet memories about her life and times by people who have registered their condolences at her father’s house.
A source close to the late lawmaker representing Ero/Isin/ Ekiti Federal Constituency, who died of breast cancer, revealed her last moment to Society Watch, saying she underwent a successful surgery in of the best hospitals in the world, Mayo Clinics in Washington DC.
“But because of the depth of love she had for her constituents, she couldn’t wait for too long in hospital. She rushed down to Nigeria to enable her participate in the ongoing political process towards 2019 elections,” the source added.
The impeccable source further revealed that she was full of life on her return back to country until penultimate Tuesday when she went into a coma.
The late politician, a daughter to billionaire industrialist, Samuel Adedoyin, was said to have had so many unfulfilled dreams, one of which was to build one of the best cancer hospitals in Africa.
‘’She was someone who was ready to give out her eyes, if requested’’, our source revealed.
Adedoyin, a mother of one, Tamilore, was the second daughter of the Kwara State-born foremost industrialist. She was one of the closest political associates of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Senator Bukola Saraki.
The top socialite, who served as Minister of State for Health under the President Olusegun Obasanjo administration, was the Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Army.
