Sanwo-Olu’s Wife, Ibijoke’s Rising Profile
For some time now, the profile of beautiful Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, wife of the All Progressive Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has been on the rise. The reason is not far-fetched. Society Watch gathered that since her husband emerged victorious in the party’s primary last year, she has suddenly become a darling of many, especially top society women in and outside the state.
It was revealed that many who ordinarily wouldn’t have had anything to do with her have suddenly found their way back to her, as they now surround her like bees to honey, thereby turning her home and office into a Mecca.
This is particularly because she is said to have her husband’s listening ears.
Although she is ordinarily not a very sociable person, Ibijoke, however, has picked high-flying social life to meet up with public life and is now the darling of many Lagos high society women, who are already falling over themselves to invite her to events and parties.
Evidence of this newfound love came to the fore when she celebrated her birthday last month.
Unlike in the past, the recent birthday celebration was different, as she was showered with gifts and encomiums from her new found friends.
Apart from the fact that she has been tirelessly garnering support for her husband and has been perceived as the next Lagos First lady by supporters, she had been involved in rendering quality and accessible healthcare services in Nigeria, while she was Medical Director, Somolu General Hospital, Lagos.
Now in her middle age, she has four children, who are all grown and ready to support their parents in their political adventure.
