US EMBASSY – WHO CARES?

-

I just saw a post purportedly from the US embassy saying that they do not enjoy refusing Nigerians visas to their land and inviting us to a Facebook meeting to discuss the issue. Mbok, AMERICA listen carefully, who cares? Not me. My position on this matter has always been very clear: if we had cleaned up our acts, won’t you have been begging us to come? Whose loss is it any way? We have heard how Nigerians are doing so well over there especially in health, education, sports and music and if we truly understand the influence that is our destiny, we will not be queuing for our daily dose of national humiliation at your doors. Who really cares? Me I don’t o. It is really not your fault, it is the madness that is our fate where despite all the resources and great human capital, we still remain in the dark ages that I blame. So I am settling down jeje in my seat and I receive a mail that my visa had been revoked after being a conscientious traveller for over 10 years. The arrogance of it all was very annoying o. Just like that no reason, no request to come and have a meeting to explain all I have been told is to go reapply and join queue again so that hungry Nigerian security men at your gates will now be using me to eat guguru. See if the millions of Nigerians don’t know their true self-worth, me I know. I am the Duke of Shomolu , a confirmed traditional title holder and the 746th to the throne of my forefathers in Nsit Ubiom, Afanga Nsit in Akwa Ibom. My days of queuing in front of that embassy are over. When I am ready to address the United Nations they will bring the visa to Shomolu and if that does not happen we will be going to Idanre hill for vacation. Nigerians should realize the true meaning of their destiny as a proud people and stop all this humiliation, it is a national disgrace. Except for health, educational reasons and also business, stay here and let’s develop this country abeg. The monies we repatriate to that place for tourism, don’t let me add education will go a long way to develop this country and make Donald Trump beg for our

visa. I know all this one I talk na for breeze, na una sabi.
