Again, Ex-NAL Workers Verification Begins
The federal government has started another auditing of former staff of the defunct Nigeria Airways Limited (NAL), who were not captured in the previous exercise to ensure transparency before they are paid their benefits. The verification audit, which is taking place simultaneously at the Lag os, Kano and other centres is being carried out by the Presidential Initiative on Continuous Audit (PICA). He, however, advised them to cooperate with the verification officials by providing all the required documents. He said the pensioners had lost hope of receiving anything from the government.
