Green Africa to Commence Operations

Upcoming domestic carrier, Green Africa has announced it would start direct flight connection­s from the commercial hub of Lagos (LOS) into Akure (AKR), Ilorin (ILR), Abuja (ABV), Enugu (ENU), Owerri (QOW) and Port Harcourt (PHC) as its launch route network ahead of entry into service. The airline made this known when it unveiled its plans to commence flight operations from its Lag os base at the General Aviation Terminal( G AT ), to the seven cities above after completion of its ongoing Air Operator Certificat­e (AOC) process with the NCAA which, it said, is now in advanced stages. Green Africa said additional cities within Nigeria would be added as the airline scaled its operations, stating that plans were already underway to establish two more operationa­l bases outside Lagos to stimulate air travel and provide more options to customers. The airline further stated that the route launch would facilitate increased economic and trade activities within Nigeria. Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Green Africa said, Bab a wan de A fol a bi ,“Starting with our launch route network, we are crafting a network plan that will afford more customers the opportunit­y to pursue their economic interest or simply spend more time with family and friends. “Our three key product offerings–g Saver, g Classic TM and g Flex TM will afford customers the value of choice and flexibilit­y.” Green Africa recently received its first aircraft with the second and third aircraft expected to arrive soon. The airline said facilities and infrastruc­ture sa reno win place to support commercial, flight, and airport operations.
